Sam Sinclair

Lead Pastor
Sam Sinclair began serving Eastmont Baptist Church as Lead Pastor in the summer of 2025. He has a deep love for the local church and a heartfelt desire to serve God’s people faithfully. Sam is a follower of Jesus, a devoted husband, and a father to two energetic boys. Born in Wellington, New Zealand, and raised in Prescott, Arizona, Sam came to faith in Christ at the age of five through God’s grace and the faithful influence of his Christian parents. By age twelve, he sensed a call to preach. Sam earned undergraduate degrees in Pastoral Ministries (2013) and History (2014) from Pensacola Christian College, followed by a Master’s degree in Biblical Languages (2015) and a Master of Divinity (2017) from Pensacola Theological Seminary. From 2017 to 2025, he served as pastor of Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama. In his free time, Sam enjoys playing the violin, drinking strong coffee, watching baseball, and studying biblical Greek and church history. Above all, Sam desires his life and ministry to reflect the aim of Philippians 3:10: “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.”

Outside of church, Suzie enjoys spending time with her family and pursuing photography. A verse that shapes her life and ministry is Jeremiah 29:11, which reminds her that God has a plan for her life and a future filled with hope.

Rachel Sinclair

Children's Ministry Director
Rachel serves Eastmont Baptist Church as the Children’s Ministry Director and has a deep love for helping children come to know Christ. She trusted Jesus Christ as her Savior at the age of eight, and since that time Matthew 5:16 has shaped her life and ministry: “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Raised in Ohio, she later spent nineteen years in the deep South, where she attended college and taught both elementary and college courses. She is married to her husband, Sam, and together they have two children, Timothy and Titus. As a family, they enjoy outdoor activities, reading good books, traveling, and going on adventures. She has a heart for children and is passionate about faithfully teaching them who God is from the pages of Scripture, believing that children’s ministry plays a vital role in fulfilling the Great Commission by pointing young hearts to Christ.
