Sam Sinclair began serving Eastmont Baptist in the role of Lead Pastor the summer of 2025.  He has deep love for the local church. He is a follower of Jesus, a husband, and a father to two energetic boys.

Sam was born in Wellington, New Zealand, and raised in Prescott, Arizona. By God’s grace and through the faithful influence of Christian parents, he trusted Christ as his Savior at the age of five and sensed a call to preach by age twelve.

He earned undergraduate degrees in Pastoral Ministries (2013) and History (2014) from Pensacola Christian College, followed by a Master’s degree in Biblical Languages (2015) and a Master of Divinity (2017) from Pensacola Theological Seminary.

From 2017 to 2025, Sam served as pastor of Cloverleaf Baptist Church in Mobile, Alabama.

Sam enjoys playing the violin, drinking strong coffee, watching baseball, and studying biblical Greek and church history.

Above all, Sam desires his life and ministry to reflect the aim of Philippians 3:10: “That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death.”
